PROJECT MEETING IN SAINT-DIÉ-DES-VOSGES, FRANCE (2011)
Day 1 - May 17th
After an incredibly long travel by air, we arrived in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. However, first we took the plane, and when we got to Paris, we visited some sights. After this we went to Nancy by TGV. From here we arrived in Saint-Dié in the evening.
Day2 - May 18th
We had a picnic on a beautiful mountain called the "Hohneck". Then we had a look at a candy factory.
Day 3 - May 19th
We went sightseeing in Saint-Dié and had a quiz about the town. We spent the evening with our "new families".
Day 4 - May 20th
We went to the kitchen of the school to cook and bake a lot of delicious French dishes. After lunch we did some shopping in the town center, and we left for Strasbourg. In my opinion it is the second most wonderful city in France, after Paris.
Day 5 - May 21st
We got up early, and left Saint-Dié and said goodbye to our new friends. On the way to Paris we stopped in Nancy to have a look at the main square of the town. The last day we spent in Paris, the capital city of France. All day we were running, and seeing the sights, like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Notre-Dame, etc. At 12 at night we were still walking up the stairs to Sacre-Coeur. We also took a boat trip on the Seine.
Day 6 - May 22nd
On Sunday morning, we woke up early again, and wearily started to travel home, enriched by many experiences, memories and new friends in our hearts.
